koputai Posted March 7, 2020 Share Posted March 7, 2020 (edited) I’d guess it’s a 1/4 track, not a 1/2 track. A77’s were a consumer deck. Two channels (stereo) in one direction, turn your tape over, then another two channels (stereo) in the other direction. A lot of people get this wrong.
