There was a pressing plant in a small factory in Marrickville for all the years that vinyl was unpopular and just when vinyl started to take off again..........it closed down!

But another one opened in June 2017 at Marrickvile!!

Anyone know where it is? ?

I read this piece and though he may be right regarding the pure technical aspects he’s wrong in the listening experience.

There are far too many variables in vinyl playback to make a definitive statement.

As Andrew Robinson rightly says, “The only one who has to like your music is you...”

Totally agree about the listening experience.................vinyl is more organic to me.

Love Andrew Robinson - he is excellent - I keep up with his videos.

It does now.

OK, I did some research. According to Dicogs:

The Vinyl Factory - Defunct Australian record pressing plant which was located in the Sydney suburb of Marrickville.
A joint venture with The Vinyl Factory, England.

It appears they pressed only 4 recordings https://www.discogs.com/label/433117-The-Vinyl-Factory-Marrickville
