pops9745
SOLD Item: Spendor D7 Cherry Location: Brisbane Price: $4200 plus shipping/insurance Item Condition: Almost Perfect Reason for selling: Am thinking of going all active Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I purchased these from Audiofix 4 years ago this month. They have basically stood in the one position all this time and have been faultless, beautiful speakers. The old "never thought I would sell" line comes to mind but I find myself streaming everything and already having a pair of Dynaudio active speakers I am thinking of going all in active. That said, I won't be unhappy if I don't so I am not looking to "unload" these - the current price seems to be up to $10k (based on the Calrton AV site). I say almost perfect because there are two small sections on the corners (one top corner and one on front corner) that seem a little light. I can't feel a different texture here or see any damage so it may just be a natural thing due to the join - possibly covered over with the use of some oil. They (as always) are much more noticeable in the close up shots - you can't see them in the standard shots. But better to mention it now I can't see anything else wrong. I have the boxes and spikes (and I assume the manual is in one of the boxes. It is dark here today so hard to get great photos and some of the colours change due to the shadows and flash. Never seen a bad review for these but some reading for those that are not across them: https://www.whathifi.com/spendor/d7/review https://www.stereophile.com/content/spendor-d7-loudspeaker https://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/spendor-d7-loudspeaker/ http://www.hifiplus.com/articles/spendor-d7-1/ Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved. pops9745
They are 7s. By the way I measured the bits I photographed close up and they are 5mm and 10mm long - as I say they look a lot worse in the close up photos. If you look at the fifth photo you will see the speaker in question and you can't see them at all.
