Flare Audio Earplugs

Recommended Posts

Hi all

In the interests of conserving whatever hearing we each have left thought I’d share this flash sale at Flare Audio.

I have no association with the brand but have used them at concerts to good effect. Have just bought a couple more pairs of the original titanium versions for nephews who are getting to that age where they’re attending concerts. Trying to start them thinking about hearing protection early.

cheers

jason

Gee, they certainly aint cheap!

I agree re concert levels though.  My 50 cent foam expandibles worked a treat for the last AC/DC concert I went to.

Flash sale apparently, $39.50 AUD for the Isolate Pro reduced from $99.

Seems pretty well priced especially considering they use titanium in the construction.

Yeah, but ears are all odd shaped and I can't imagine that there is much give in the small amount of foam that there is over the titanium - which leads really quickly  to mega sore ears and pain.

Just what I have found and I have to wear them nearly 8hrs 5 days a week when I am actually working.  Others milage may differ.

So it’s Kind of noise cancelling but you can still hear everything? How does it work, really interesting

Personally I find the foam expandables a pain as far as fit, getting them to expand in just the right way to work properly can be tricky.

If fit is a concern, I'd get a pair of Earmolds.

I have a pair and they are very good.

Not the cheapest but definitely worth the money.

I got mine from Andy Strapz in Seaford.
