Yes these aren't cheap, but bear in mind they are some of the finest versions of these classics, getting harder to find, and still nowhere near the price an OG would cost you. I have also priced most of them UNDER the discogs median.

Sonny Clark - Cool Struttin’ (Stereo) // Blue Note
Japanese King Pressing 1978 (GXK 8043)   NM/NM
Without OBI strip, but with liner notes in Japanese. Sleeve and vinyl both look pretty much new. Vinyl is pristine, and shiny, with no surface marks visible. Typically quiet Jap pressing, and as per all other Masterpiece King pressings, this one sounds amazing. No better gateway drug into Blue Note goodness. Amazing hard bop, one of my favourites. Only selling as I have the music matters version. Priced to reflect condition.  // $50

Sonny Rollins - Vol. 2 (Mono) // Blue Note
Classic Records Pressing 2006 (BN 1558-MONO-200G)   NM/VG+
As above, a rare classic records gem. QUIEX SV-P technology, 200G weight, and deep groove. Glossy and sturdy, stoughton tip-on jacket. Sleeve appears as new on this one too. Very small (2-3mm) scratch on side 1 close to the outer edge causes a few audible tics, hence the VG+ grade. Otherwise looks clean and glossy and plays with no issue. Beautiful mastering, with a rich sound. …a timeless session and a milestone in jazz history …" this recording has it all; giant artists, fantastic performances and musicianship at extremes. Selling as I have an original.  // $70

Sonny Rollins - Sonny Rollins Vol. 1 (Mono) // Blue Note
Japanese King Pressing 1977 (GXK 8016)   VG+/NM
No OBI, but with liner notes in Japanese. Sleeve shows some signs of age, with mild corner dings and spine wear. Vinyl clean and glossy. Great early Blue Note session for Sonny. Straight up hard bop. Features Donald Byrd on trumpet, and Max Roach on drums!. Also known as Vol. 1  // $45

Lee Morgan - Indeed! (Mono) // Blue Note
Japanese Toshiba Pressing 1983 (BLP1538)   VG+/NM
No OBI, with liner notes in Japanese. Record looks brand new. Clean waxy black surface. Quiet throughout. Light tics only heard during silence between tracks. Very spacious soundstage for a mono recording. Sleeve shows signs of wear and staining on spine and back (>30 years old after all). As far as the content, this was Lee Morgan’s debut as band leader on Blue Note. He was only 18 at the time. Great lineup including Philly ‘Joe’ Jones on drums and Horace Silver on piano. First class bebop here. Only selling as I have a Music Matters 45RPM copy. // $45

Dexter Gordon - Our Man In Paris (Stereo, 2xLP, 45RPM) // Blue Note
Music Matters Pressing 2012 (MMBST-84146)   NM/NM
I will not spend much time expounding on the quality of music matters releases, but will say that these are the BEST you will hear these albums sound, outside of 1st pressings (which would literally cost you thousands). The pinnacle of audiophile grade vinyl. This MM album is now out of stock and CANNOT be purchased new anywhere. It is unlikely to be repressed. I happen to own two copies of this, don’t ask me why. This particular copy is close to perfect. Shiny laminated gatefold cover (some scuffs if carefully scrutinised). The vinyl looks a little strange with some ‘staining’ (came from the factory this way), but playback is dead quiet with absolutely no clicks or pops heard. 45 RPM allows the music more space to breathe. Also helps avoid dreaded inner groove distortion. This album is different for Blue Note, in that it was recorded in Paris. An all-time classic, cementing Dexter Gordon’s status as one of the finest tenor saxophonists around. 5 tracks, all standards, including an incredible rendition of ‘A Night in Tunisia’. // $120

John Coltrane - Blue Train (Mono) // Blue Note
Classic Records Pressing 2005 (BN 1577-MONO-200G)   NM/NM
An exceedingly rare audiophile pressing of this all-time jazz classic. Classic Records are unfortunately no longer in business. QUIEX SV-P technology, 200G weight, and deep groove. Sleeve appears new. Sounds amazing, like the band is in the room with you. No need for me to discuss the music here. Only selling as I now have the Music Matters SRX version. // $160

Kenny Dorham - Afro-Cuban (Mono) // Blue Note
Japanese Toshiba Pressing 1983 (BLP1535)   NM/NM
No OBI, no liner notes. Record and sleeve look immaculate. Again, clean waxy vinyl surface without scuffs or scratches. Quiet playback. One of my favourite Blue Note titles. Pure fire. Two sides of contrasting styles. Side 1 has 4 tracks, all with an afro-cuban percussion heavy feel. Side 2 is more straight up hard bop. Played by an all-star group that includes Hank Mobley, Horace Silver, JJ Johnson, and the one and only Art Blakey. Hard to find in this condition. Again, only letting go as I have a Music Matters SRX copy that I prefer. // $70

Lee Morgan - Candy (Mono) // Blue Note
Japanese Toshiba Pressing 2008 (TOJJ 6507)   NM/NM
As new. With OBI and liner notes in Japanese. Remastered, and reissued only in Japan as part of Blue Note founder Alfred Lion’s 100th birth year Anniversary. Limited copies, no longer available for sale new. Great set, very enjoyable and accessible even for those new to jazz and hard bop. Can’t go wrong with this lineup. // $80

The Amazing Bud Powell - The Scene Changes, Vol. 5 (Stereo) // Blue Note
Japanese King Pressing 1978 (GXK 8075)   VG/NM
No OBI, but with liner notes in Japanese. Sleeve shows some signs of age, with a bottom left corner ding, and spine wear. Vinyl clean and glossy. Piano driven jazz trio. Widely considered Bud’s finest release. Amazing showcase of Bud’s talents on the ivory keys. Even playfully dabbles with a classical piece or two somewhere in there.  // $30

Kenny Burrell - Midnight Blue (Stereo) // Blue Note
Japanese Toshiba Pressing 2008 (TOJJ 6518)   NM/NM
As new. With OBI and liner notes in Japanese. Remastered, and reissued only in Japan as part of Blue Note founder Alfred Lion’s 100th birth year Anniversary. Limited copies, no longer available for sale new. In my top 10 Blue Note albums of all time. An essential part of any music lover’s collection IMHO. Smooth, accessible guitar driven blues-jazz at its finest. Love the addition of Ray Barretto on the Conga.  // $80

Horace Silver - Horace Silver Trio (Mono) // Blue Note
Japanese Toshiba Pressing 1983 (BLP 1520)   NM (shrink)/NM
With OBI sticker, and liner notes in Japanese. Sleeve still in shrink, basically looks new. Vinyl is clean and glossy, with no surface marks visible. Quiet pressing, sounds amazing. An interesting early release from the illustrious Horace Silver, with a particular focus on Art Blakey on drums and Sabu on percussion. Pretty rare early release, and in near mint condition. Selling as I have the VMP anthology version.  // $40
