Breville BES 900 clean up

Recommended Posts

Well I've just relocated my businesses stock reserve from a dedicated warehouse to home. We had a Breville Dual Boiler machine at the warehouse that no one ever used. I've brought it home and noticed some light surface rust on it, probably due to being near a kettle in an otherwise cold (in winter) warehouse.

The surface is a brushed stainless steel (clearly not marine grade) and I've tried some stainless steel cleaner which did nothing and auotsol to polish the rust away before selling but some is still evident. Any other ideas what to polish it with?

Weak acid... as per above which vinegar is

if that doesn’t work try alkaline approach ... baking soda mixed with water to make a slurry. Use cloth or old tooth brush :)
