These things rock

Power Output
450 x1 watts @ 8 Ω
850 x1 watts @ 4 Ω
1300 x1 watts @ 2 Ω

Power measurements are with 120 VAC:
0.15% THD, RMS continuous power,
full audio band (20 Hz - 20 kHz)

< 0.15 % at full power
< 0.02 % at typical listening levels

Class A Power Output
25 Watts, bias switch set to high
10 Watts, bias switch set to low

Current Capacity
180 amps, peak

And that's at 120v in the US,  230v would be better specs again.

Heard the last model with matching preamp on Kef Blades and it was one of the best sounds ever heard, beautiful control, precise detail and imaging, effortless.

Yeah upgrade to power and current... I'm drooling over these.

Kinda wish they didn't change the front logo though

Yeah they got rid of the illuminated logo because the bloody tree hugging climate morons  jumped up an down about it consuming power while it was in standby mode... I kid you not

Yep....I have a pair of A21’s, an A51 and a pair of  A23’s and these things are velvet sledge hammers all with the previous designed faceplate which I reckon is a prettier design than the new generation...

Just like the old JC1's, the mains can be changed 115v to 230v easily by the owner via the three switches. So look out for used cheap ones on the US market.

Anyone know who are the dealers in Australia, and RRP?

You can always refer to our very own brand pages here on SN:

The US retail price is $US 17k.

Almost double the cost of the previous model.

That peak current output is insane.

@ghost4man - surely this will satisfy your Maggies

Yes.

But wait till you see my completed Holton dual stereo monobloc.

Massive and I mean massive transformer. I'm hoping it rivals any commercially produced amplifier out there.

But yes these Parasounds coupe well with any Maggie speaker.

The actual measurements might be even better. Remember the measurements from Stereophile Magazine for the JC1 ,below?

586.5W into 8 ohms 1154W into 4 ohms 2255W into 2 ohms 4200W into 1 ohm

Clearly Parasound is doing the right thing and have also given the Taiwanese factory workers a 100% pay increase  😁
