Parasound JC 1 + new release.

These things rock

Power Output
450 x1 watts @ 8 Ω
850 x1 watts @ 4 Ω
1300 x1 watts @ 2 Ω

Power measurements are with 120 VAC:
0.15% THD, RMS continuous power,
full audio band (20 Hz - 20 kHz)

< 0.15 % at full power
< 0.02 % at typical listening levels

Class A Power Output
25 Watts, bias switch set to high
10 Watts, bias switch set to low

Current Capacity
180 amps, peak

And that's at 120v in the US,  230v would be better specs again.

Yeah upgrade to power and current... I'm drooling over these.

Kinda wish they didn't change the front logo though

Yep....I have a pair of A21’s, an A51 and a pair of  A23’s and these things are velvet sledge hammers all with the previous designed faceplate which I reckon is a prettier design than the new generation...

That peak current output is insane.

@ghost4man - surely this will satisfy your Maggies

Yes.

But wait till you see my completed Holton dual stereo monobloc.

Massive and I mean massive transformer. I'm hoping it rivals any commercially produced amplifier out there.

But yes these Parasounds coupe well with any Maggie speaker.

The actual measurements might be even better. Remember the measurements from Stereophile Magazine for the JC1 ,below?

586.5W into 8 ohms 1154W into 4 ohms 2255W into 2 ohms 4200W into 1 ohm
