FS: ASR Emitter I Amp

Recommended Posts

Item: ASR Emitter I
Location: Wollongong
Price: $6k Neg.
Item Condition:
Very Good
Reason for selling: Unexpectedly joined the unemployed/retired brigade, thus funds are an issue.
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal,
Extra Info:

At this point I will have to say it's a pick-up proposition as the amp and its power supply are very heavy, and I am still using crutches.

I have the original power cord, the manual and the remote control, but do not have the box. Audition by appointment at my place, with my speakers or with yours (if you wish to bring them along), should you wish to.

Donation to SNA when sold.

Sorry about your predicament mate.

Hope you still have a decent setup after your sell off.

I was made reduntant 4 years ago at age 62.  And then couldn't get a job. So decided to retire mid last year. A very frustrating period

Made sure that l had all my toys before hand. Especially my 2 channel setup.

Get a pension next month, unless Smirko decides to abolish the Aged Pension or puts the working age up to 110.

Hopefully, retirement will be very enjoyable, with the odd trip over seas; trips to the gym, so l can enjoy my other hobby...RedWine.

And countless hours of listening to music on my new system, that took me 40 years to get to.

Yep, gunna be Good👍

GLWS and retirement.

Thanks @needlerunner,

I know what you mean about the 40 year run to get to the point we are now. System evolution seems to me to be similar to driving from Perth to Derby. The starting point is completely different to where you end up, but the scenery changes so slowly as you go along it isn't until you reach your destination that you reflect on just how different it is.

I will be looking for some kind of employment once my ambulatory problems are addressed and I can ditch the crutches, so wish me luck with that.

Given the current situation I wouldn't be surprised to see the introduction of Work for the Pension, and am surprised that ScuMo hasn't tried to implement this already.

A road I've often thought of venturing down myself, but I believe I've found my path. Beautiful amp that I will always wonder about and an absolute deal. I wish you a quick sale X

Please don't speak of this. I am close to pension age!!!

Beautiful amp, wish I was in need of one.

Item Condition: Good condition Shipping Options: Pickup available and you can audition.,Shipping is available at agreed cost. Suburb or Town: kirribilli State: New South Wales Payment Method: Cash, Bank transfer Reason for selling: Going separates Just bought it from @Kenneth Teh to go with my LS50.
Very nice "little" (coming from my Epicon 2 + Elekit 8340...) combo and it does headphones amp too (I didn't spend much time with the head amp though).
I read that it would run hot so I bought a 12V power supply + an external fan (you can see it on the top of the amp) while waiting for it. With it, it barely runs warm, without it, it gets warm but not hot... I'm not sure why so many people complained about this!
Fan and 12V power supply included in the price.

      This review conviced me:

"The Schiit Audio Ragnarok plus KEF LS50s is the most enjoyable stereo system I've used in the 21st century."
"Even if the Ragnarok were only a headphone amp or only a loudspeaker amp, it would be worth more than $1700."
"Most important, it's the first amplifier of my experience that plays earth and sky, mind and body, brown eyes and blue, speakers and headphones, with equal narcotic intensity. It likes every type of music."
      Stereophile
      Herb Reichert

I just bought a Schiit preamp here and I'm going to try separates, hence the sale.

      PM if any questions
