Recommended Posts

Item: Various Metal Rock Records
Location: Ipswich QLD
Price: Below
Item Condition: Below
Reason for selling: NLR
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only
Extra Info:

All the records have been cleaned on Vacuum RCM with Melody Mate. You may get better results on your machine especially if you have an US RCM but I have given them a once over and a re-sleeve.

Please note there are two bulk lots below which I would rather keep altogether. I also have some other early AUS pressings of the Beatles and Pink Floyd to list in the coming days so I am happy to combine postage if you want to wait.

Postage $13 per single LP, $15 for 2-3 and $18+ for anything above

Metallica Bulk Lot $80, I will throw in a early AUS pressing of Master or Puppets for free but it's noisy. The vinyl looks good though. All records below play well with a little surface noise here and there but very very acceptable.

Metallica - The $5.98 E.P. - Garage Days Re-Revisited 12", EP, Maxi Vertigo, Vertigo METAL 112, 888 829-1 1987 UK
Metallica - Kill 'Em All LP, Album, RE, 180 Vertigo 838 142-1 2001 Europe
Metallica - Ride The Lightning LP, Album, RE Vertigo, PolyGram 838 140-2 1989 Australia

Iron Maiden Bulk Lot $100 The two 12" LP's play excellent with minimal surface noise. I am not into Maiden but the self titled album sounded excellent from my brief listening. The other Limited 7" Pressing is still sealed and the 7" Promo play pretty noisy. I can't clean 7" records so it may benefit from a good cleaning but it is still highly collectable, most promo pressings go for over $150 AUD.

Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden
LP, Album, RE
EMI, EMI EMC.3330, EMC-3330
1982 Australia

Iron Maiden - Maiden Japan
12", EP
1981 Australia

Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast
7", Single, Promo
1982 Australia

Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast
7", Single, Ltd, Red
EMI, EMI EM 666, 7243 8704167 7
2005 UK

Black Sabbath - Paranoid    $30.     Early AUS pressing in Matte Sleeve. Minimal surface and a very playable copy. Sounds great.
LP, Album, Gat
Vertigo 6360 011
1970 Australia

Metallica - St. Anger  $70  Brand New Still Sealed. First US Pressing and very keenly priced for a sealed copy. 2nd hand copies sell for more.
2xLP, Album, Gat
Elektra 62853-1
2003 USA & Canada

Led Zeppelin II. $40    I can't find the exact copy of this in Discogs. Its on the later Atlantic label circa 73 so I am assuming it is a later reissue/repress. Sounds fantastic, really good. A little surface noise on the first few minutes of side 1 but really good otherwise. Looks brand new so it might come perfect after US clean or a few plays.

LP, Album, Gat

Price dropped on all titles. The Iron Maiden lot is pretty good value IMO.
