Currently he has a Luxman EQ500, various E.A.R phono stages and step up transformers, Quad 24P, a few MoFi ones, Acoustic Research - those are the ones that we know of!

Juzbear
I finally got around to strapping the outputs of my Audio Technica AT33PTG, which I had retipped earlier this year, and after couple of false starts, the end result is very satisfactory. It should put thoughts of dedicated mono cartridges out of my mind, at least for a little while!

PKay
The 17d3 on my Audio Origami PU7 in action. I have changed the vtf to 2.15g with a bit more bass weight and possibly less crackle on the odd record. I previously had it at 1.9g. Would like to to know what any other 17d3 owners are setting vtf at. Edited September 22, 2019 by PKay

KRSDarwin
Purchased an original Rega Planar 2 to replace my Project Carbon Debut and try to integrate better with my work system. Aesthetics were (to my mind) improved but sound quality wasn’t as good so (as suggested by my SNA vendor who was great to deal with) replaced the old cartridge and tonight installed a Garrott K1 Dynamic Coil cartridge. My magic is back with a vengeance!!

The BR/MR has been in place for well over a year as I found it hard to remove but now it's time for a well earned rest.

rossb
New phono stage - Ayre P5xe. I found a black one to match my black AX5 Twenty amp. It's a pity these have been discontinued. It is a superb phono stage. Extremely transparent and neutral.

monts71
Great topic & interesting set ups.....After much experimenting on a light budget, I’m rather impressed with Supex 901mc/Shure passive sut. Most enjoyable listening:)
