SOLD: Price Drop: ATC SCM11 .V2 SPEAKERS

Recommended Posts

Item: Latest Version ATC SCM11 Version 2 Bookshelf Speakers
Location: Melbourne
Price: Reduced from $1850 to $1550. RRP was $2999 when I bought them. Donation to SNA on sale
Item Condition: Excellent
Reason for selling: Need funds
Payment Method: Cash, Bank Transfer or Paypal
Extra Info: While the reputation of ATC needs no explanation, the SCM11s are often regarded as the sweet spot of their current range, with substantial uncoloured bass from a moderately sized enclosure at considerable savings over the larger bookshelf SCM19. Typical ATC accuracy and information retrieval highlights some of the reasons why they are commonly used by British reviewers as a reference, as well as in professional studios.

This particular pair is as good an example as one can expect from standmount speakers, perfect in every way apart from minor underside scratching from sitting on stands. They come in black ash with original carton, magnetic grilles, manual and all paperwork. Safe postage at buyer's expense is available. Discover what all the fuss is about at a bargain price!

If these don't sell I'll be listing my SCM7s as well.

Too much equipment so I have started to cull.

The Luxman L-2 is a 33W per channel, built in 1980.  I would describe the sound as smooth and build quality on these units is excellent.  There are a few restoration/upgrade projects for these amps to be found online.

I bought this amp from the original owner approximately 3 years ago.  It has done very light duties in that time, being used mainly to drive my Sennheiser HD 650 headphones.  I am now using a Sansui AU 555 which was purchased from a fellow SNAer to drive the headphones so its time for this amp to find a new home.

I have used phono and aux inputs (Chromecast Audio attached) and both work fine.  Have also connected speakers and they work as well.  The only thing I did was to sand back the metal lid and spray painted, it black.  Other than that, is in similar original condition as to when I purchased it.

There are some light marks etc, but given it age, I would rate this as in good condition.
