There's probably even an MQA edition of "Journey of the Sorcerer" by The Eagles to enjoy the theme music in full.

well actually it looks like it is on three albums - the original and then two compilations:

One of These Nights

The Studio Albums 1972-1978

Legacy

all appear to be the 2013 remaster so not sure how it compares to the original 1975 release.  (I just listened to it and it is just as I remember it from a cassette I had of it nearly 45 years ago!)

anyway just checked and the "One of These Nights" album is there in both "normal" and MQA so can always see which you prefer.

cheers

James Morrison's music school in Mt Gambier holds the Generations in Jazz schools competition every two years and on the Fri and Sat nights he has a concert with some invited guests.  He introduced this guy playing the Hammond B3 organ Joey De Francesco.  I thought how boring is this going to be.  How wrong was I, Joey blew the top off the oversize tent holding a few thousand school kids.

Albert King & Stevie Ray Vaughan - In Session... for some blues guitar awesomeness.

If it even approaches the quality and dynamics of the AP 45rpm vinyl pressing of In Session, it would be well worth streaming.?

Cheers,

Keith

Have since getting Tidal I have really broadened my horizons and ventured into previously unheard of (literally) territory:

Shelby Lynne - Just a Little Loving

Sheryl Crow - Threads

I’ve never intentionally listened to soul music, nor had the desire, but quite enjoyed Blackbirds by Bettye Lavette on Tidal Masters. I just pressed play because it looked interesting and it sounds awesome.

Apparently she also infuses her music with blues, rock and other styles. There was some luscious blues guitar in some of the aforementioned album.
