I'd buy this before that. $100 cheaper. https://www.harveynorman.com.au/lg-55-inch-c9-4k-uhd-oled-ai-thinq-smart-tv.html You want to be sitting pretty damn close for a 55" 4K TV 65" is better. My viewing room is very small, so a 55" would be about right for me. I just thought that Sony OLEDs looked to have the best picture. LG used to have a name for reliability issues, but that was a few years ago now.

LG C9 Oled is fairly widely considered best television in the world. 404 WWW.TOMSGUIDE.COM Know what you mean on LG a few years ago. Is the sound OK.?...the Sony apparently has excellent sound and I don't think I can afford a soundbar as well. Cheers.
Whites
I have last years Sony and the sound is great. I don’t use a sound bar. Also the Sony has best upscaling which is important if you watch FTA channels.
Mantra1
Thanks @Whites With a bit of luck I should be able to compare both Sony and LG side by side. I think I'll just have to live with the sound, it shouldn't be too bad. OK, not as good as a soundbar, but that can be for the future. Must say, I did like the Sony's picture best of all.
