Shipping: Anywhere in Australia, POA Extra Info: Here we have a pair of KEK Concerto speakers which we need to move out of the showroom as we simply don't have the space. Produced between 1969-77 (although we do not know the exact age of this pair), they utilize an Australian manufactured cabinet and cultivated their own loyal following. If you know the speaker, you'll be familiar with the famed 'B139 racetrack' bass driver. At the time of manufacturing they represented the 'very latest tech in a 3-way loudspeaker'. KEF used a dedicated (and at the time) new developed 5” bextrene coned B110 midrange driver to cover the vocal range. Fancy. There was also a T27 ¾” melinex domed tweeter and of course the aforementioned B139 for low end duties. KEF says the speaker was intended for 'professionals and serious enthusiasts'. Testament to it's success commercially was that the Concerto remained in production virtually unchanged for eight years. Now to be fair this pair is not best condition visually (hence the price) but structurally they are fine and they do play well. Concertos from this era in good condition will go for around $600-700.
