Reason for selling: Simplifying system, going to integrated.

Extra Info:

My Bryston system originally consisted of BCD-1 CD player, BP26 pre + MPS2 power supply and 4bsst2. After a few years pause from stereo hifi, I am slowly getting back into this hobby. Space constraints and family requirements force me to go with an integrated setup with bookshelf speakers now.

I purchased the whole Bryston system brand new about 8-9 years ago and occasionally used them for less than a year (less than 1,000 hours) before the kids were born. Once the kids were born, I just can't enjoy stereo hifi the way I used to/want to and I have since ventured into the head-fi world instead. So the Bryston have been stored in boxes for the last 7-8 years. What a waste.....

I have just recently sold the 4bsst2 to another member here (I am not sure whether to sell the BCD-1 or not for the time being).

I can assure you that the BP26 preamp + MPS2 are like new with no visible marks or blemishes.

Comes with original box/packaging, manual and test certificate etc.

Cash pickup is OK and I can ship anywhere (postage extra). Paypal fee payable by the buyer.

Donation will be made to SNA if sold here.

All reasonable offers welcome!

This is one hell of a preamplifier!

In my opinion, as solid state preamps go, you will have to search hard to find one that outperforms it.. at any price!

The h/phone amp in it is excellent too!

GLWS.

Thanks Arthur K.

The BP26 will match well with your 7Bst too. Fancy a change? :)

Yes I know..

..I have the BP25 with the MPS2 power supply and ..( keep that a secret..), when no one is looking I take off the Audio Research and connect the Bryston!.  MAGIC!

Too many preamplifiers already over the years!
