Headbanger Posted November 21, 2019 Share Posted November 21, 2019 This was a moving coil amplifier to boost the signal level to moving magnet levels. It was very quiet and required matched transistors to build. The 9v battery per channel idea & paralleled emitter input was ahead of its time to keep noise low. Marshall Leach was like Nelson Pass in that he liked to share his ideas with the audio community. Originally published this circuit in mid 1970s in Audio magazine.
