GLWTS.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AS/NZS_3112 Australian Voltage Standard changed across most states to 230V +10% to -6% (except WA and QLD) in 2000 (if you believe the wiki) and AS/NZS 3122.

Whatever the voltage the advertised amplifier is a beast!

In Perth, some of the suburbs can fluctuate to 250V sometimes.

It's actually affecting the quality of the sound if the amp is a 230V unit, especially tube amp.

Not only perth, I had the same problem in Sydney. Have to lower the bias of my Lamm ML2.1 a little to make sure it would be safe.

That's why I specifically requested for the 240V version because I have to make sure that the tubes will not be damaged due to the high fluctuation of current.

I Had one of these.  Great amp.

in The proper box, it can travel safely.  Something to think about if all offers are from interstate.  Mine traveled from  Adelaide to Melbourne safely

Nope definitely a bad move for Jake with the new arrivals  but yeah great amp just a pity I never owned the right speakers when i had mine which I might ad paid a great deal more for a ratted out demo unit than the bargain basement asking price being asked here. Tempted to get it for its super cool Dr. Frankenstein lab looks to just sit it in the corner and stare....

@Tubularbells  Well that's what I thought those two could do, they seem eternally cashed up...sooo, grab this, play with it, move it on. Grab another one even and bi amp their speakers just for the fun of it!😎

This amplifier really has the Steampunk thing going on in spades and the  side benefits are that it should outlive the buyer AND sound great all its life.
