External Amp

Recommended Posts

I currently have a Dennon AVR-X6300H pushing 2 Klipsch RP-280FA for fronts and 2 for rears, RP-450C for center, RP-250S for surround and 2 Klipsch Reference R-112SW. I just ordered a Marantz MM7055 5 channel amp and plan on bi-amping fronts powering them and center from the 5 channel amp, leaving atmos connection on front height on reciever. Is this my best option?

Thanks

Congrats on the purchase.
And I think you're following the right thinking there by giving your most commonly used channels the greater amplification available for their dynamics [emoji106]

I would say that your receiver would have a bi amp option however for the Klipsch i can understand that an additional external amp would help.
IMO the Marantz may not make much of a difference and I would suggest that you work on a 2 channel amp to power the front 2 speakers and let your Denon work on the rest.
I would recommend a Rotel RB1582 MKII to give your Klipsch the juice it needs.
Cheers
