There's either a buyer for the item, or there isn't, and when a buyer does come along, they'll negotiate based on whatever the advertised price is regardless, so you're short changing yourself. It's the problem with rare hardware in the top price brackets. I finished an extensive integrated search just over a year ago and bought a Lavardin but every now and then something interesting like your amp pops up.
