Just home from the Gig.    One of the most stunning rock vocals I have heard.   At 61 yrs old Tate still has all the vocal chords firing on all cylinders.    His brilliant vocal performance of the seminal Concept Album 'Operation Mindcrime' was what you would call 'Special.'

His young band of gifted muso's also put in a stellar performance.    After 26 months on the road they were tight as a fish's.    Josh Watts on drums was an absolute whirling dervish.   His band is an interesting mix.   2 from Scotland, 1 from the UK and 1 from Ireland.

1 hour of Mindcrime followed by some Tracks from Empire and a truly memorable performance was over.   Kudos to the Croxton Park Choir who's combined vocals throughout the show was a highlight.

Long may Mr Tate reign.

Regards Cazzesman

Agreed C’man. Excellent performance by Tate and his young band. In fact, it was far better than what I expected. Tate’s vocals still hold up well and he sure does command the stage. Way better concert than Queensrÿche a couple of years back IMO.
