The NuWave, which has received many glowing reviews, actually uses the same A/D PCM4222 chip, so that speaks to the quality of result you can expect with this module. This is an evaluation module, so it is built to the manufacturer's spec and only requires a power supply and your preferred PC interface (eg an I2S to USB module). You could use this module to digitise your vinyl or tape collection or even as an input stage for some of the great audio analysis software available. Current pricing is $235 + GST ($260).
