SOLD: FS: Denon AVR 4311ci

Recommended Posts

Item: Denon AVR 4311ci
Location: Brisbane
Price: $300
Item Condition: Very Good - 8.5/10 cosmetically and 10/10 functionally
Reason for selling: Upgrade of sorts
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only
Extra Info: Up for sale is my Denon 4311. I'm the 2nd owner, it arrived to me in absolutely mint condition from @pmunger (John) in late 2017, and it has been absolutely flawless in operation since. Only gets used for 2-3 movies/week , in a well ventilated cabinet with 2 x AC Infinity cooling fans on at all times of use. My PSA speakers are 98dB/1w/1m efficient , so probably putting out 3-5 max at any time.So a fairly easy life.

Comes with both remotes, Audyssey mic (XT32) ,power cord and manuals.

Literally only selling because I "upgraded" to the Denon AVR-X4000 - and only because my wife can't get used to the menu system on this, and prefers the one on our Denon X-1000, so I got this to make both of our lives easier

This is a high quality AVR,made in Japan and pretty heavy at around 19kgs.

Pickup is much preferred, but I can post at buyers expense if no local interest

(Freight: box dimensions Hx 29cm Wx 56cm Dx 54cm Weight 21kgs)

Hi Guys

Thanks for all the PMs, there are few interstaters interested, if no one local shows interest today it will go to the first in line. Guessing post will be $40-50 (it cost $48.50 from Perth to Brissy when I bought it via Aus Post)

Really sad to see this beast go, can't believe how much heavier this unit is compared to the X4000!

add extra packing mate. the box is actually quite thick vs the crappy yamaha boxes of the same era but extra padding wont hurt.

now on a separate matter... a recent brisbane survey of wives who's husbands have bought PSA speakers shows a growing hate for that brand.. so let me know when she wants them gone 🙂

haha. she's actually pretty good with this stuff....more function over form...hence the upgrade to the simpler to use (for her)  X4000.

Actually looking at adding a third SubMersive to the lounge room (if the stars align) and she's fine with that too lol

      Hello everyone,
Good day . I am new to stereonet. Looking for some recommendations for my stereo(40%)/HT setup(60%).
      Current setup:
      Klipsch RP 260F (L-R), Klipsch 450C (Centre), Klipsch RP250S(surround)
      Sub : SVS PB2000
      AVR : Denon X 520BT
      Connected to TV.
Looking to upgrade my AVR and add power amplifier. Looking for some recommendations.
As klipsch are bright sounding speakers need to pair with Warm sounding amplifiers like Denon/Marantz
I am looking to invest in something which will future proof for next 5 years at least.
Any recommendations will be helpful. I am new to this world of amplifiers and sound. Please excuse for newbie mistakes/questions.
how good is ATI power amplifier?
      Thank you.

      Location: campsie
      Price: 3,100
      Item Condition: new
      Reason for selling: nlr
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only
      Extra Info:
for 3100$ good luck beating this. Smooth silky vocals with good bass control.
the dac isn't too bad, bit this unit really shines with vinyl .. the only issue with the dac is it may lack overall dynamics.  And is a touch forward. But!! That's  comparing it to seperate  dacs over 6 grand. Hence why i say for 3k this will be very hard to beat
i purchased brand new with 2 years warranty .
      only 15 hours on unit
(**I'm only selling this unit because my accuphase poweramp is not selling. If someone wants to bid for the accuphase then i can keep this denon 😁😁😀**)

      Item: Denon AVC-X8500B
      Location: Perth
      Price: $4000 $3800 + shipping
Item Condition: Excellent (1.5 years old – but has been boxed for last 5 months)
Reason for selling: Moved house with no room for theatre ☹
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Bank Transfer
      Extra Info
Denon’s flagship AVR with 13.2 channels. Allows for a very flexible arrangement with 9.2.4, 7.2.6 ATMOS, DTS-X or Auro layouts.
The 13 channels are fully amplified, so an external amp is not required to fully use all channels.
Comes with all documents and accessories. Have original box, so shipping is an option (fyi this thing is not light).
If you search my name, you’ll see details of my previous system(s) so know that I am an enthusiast. Rest assured when I say this is a quality and very capable product. I was extremely happy with the Denon. If I still had my system, I would have happily kept it until it died (with the only reason to change out being going to a higher channel count).
