Are you trying to suggest that your post wasn't serious and you were simply trolling for a reaction?

LOL, I thought it was very clever and also showed the difference between real audiophiles and those who don't know what they are doing, what did you think?

I actually heard part of it in a supermarket when shopping with my wife, a man was following his wife with a trolley and said that "Mine doesn't know where she's going or what she is going to do when she gets there".

This post was edited for fun.

Maybe we could call this " Audiophile sensitivity syndrome" or Ass for short emoji3.png
All get togethers at my place will now be called AA meetings or Audiophiles anonymous. We will however be consuming alcohol which is the best way to improve SQ when performing equipment comparisons.

yeah, I reckon you're not a true audiophile until you've experienced ass rattling bass like George Michael in a public toilet

It definitely pays to research and increase your knowledge so the money you spend will reap more results when building a system.

There are also those who are trying to achieve the highest level of fidelity that they can achieve and not just an adequate level of fidelity. :)

I reckon you probably missed the mark on the joke side of things (it happens....), possibly a bit too subtle in its execution  ??  :sorry:

      Item: Focal Aria 926

Price: 2k (donation if sold here)
      Item Condition: Excellent
      Reason for selling: Upgrade
Payment Method:  bank transfer, PayPal, cash
Extra Info: These are fantastic speakers where you will find many reviews online.

      - Original grills in excellent condition
      - No dents or scratches
      - Operated at reasonably low/mid volume.
      - Speakers are covered with soft fabric when not used to protect from sunlight.
      - I can arrange time for audition for serious buyers only.

I’m impressed with the focal, I was able to get a well defined sound stage from wall to wall and with clear separation of instruments and focal. The cleanest of the sound is well balanced and are not bright at all. The female and male vocals are emotional and it’s bass is punchy and weighted like waves pushing to the shoreline.

If you are looking to spend 2k on speakers these would be the choice for me. It is current rrp is $3750 and that is not run in.

      It is made in France.
