Looks like a McIntosh 250 is part of his system!

Bosch's pad looks pretty cool! Each time there's shot of his stereo I try to figure out what he's got there!

new season on SBS On Demand.

I have never watched the show but have read plenty of the books. Bosch is a fan of vinyl and John Coltrane amongst other artists. They don’t mention any McIntosh in the books.

I have loved all the Michael Connelly books and with his involvement in the TV series it sticks very very closely to the novels.   Titus B. Welliver from Deadwood and Jamie Hector from The Wire are perfectly cast.

Great TV viewing.   Don't miss it if you love a gritty crime show.

Yes, it’s a great series.

Welliver was in Deadwood ? I don’t remember him - who did he play?

Anyone with a dog called Coltrane is fine by me.

He became "Swedgin's' Bag Man.

Recently finished re-watching the 3 seasons prior to the Movie coming out last month.

Truly, truly a work of art.   If you haven't seen it for awhile Buddyev then get back to it, you won't be disappointed.    Every character is a gem.

The work by Robin Weigert as 'Calamity Jane' is astounding.  I don't remember giving her the kudos she deserved on first viewing, being up against Olyphant and McShane, who steal every scene even when they don't speak.

Currently re-watching The Wire.  Just finishing Season 2.

Ah yes, I remember him now. Calamity Jane is such a great character. I definitely plan to find time to watch it again - I think it was the best of that new generation of great tv that started with the Sopranos. The penny finally dropped that if you put as much money and effort into employing script writers as they usually throw away in pointless car chases great things happen. The Wire is brilliant.

Michael Connelly also has a great podcast out at the moment called Murder Book about a 30 year old case. Well worth a listen. He talks quite a bit about the lead detective n the case who was the inspiration for the Bosch character.
