A fantastic DAC - it was my upgrade to my Hugo 2. I also have the DAVE, and don't have time to listen to both, so letting go of this gem of a DAC. Key features that attracted me were: * balanced out and plethora of inputs * remote control for integrated preamp (which is just excellent - had to listen v. close to hear the upgrade that my ARC Ref 3 provided in the chain) * superb tube DAC which is a noticable upgrade in sound stage and detail retrieval vs. my old Hugo 2 Unit comes with remote control and brand new spare set of 4 replacement tubes (EAR original 4 x ECC88). The current tubes have had less than 300 hours use, and tube life is ~10000 hours.
