Lovely!

How old is this?  Are you the original owner?

Will the stylus need replacement?

Is the cart MC?  High or low output?

Cheers

I purchased the VPI turntable and the Dynavector cartridge new 6 1/2 years ago. So I am the original owner.

The cartridge has many hours on it. But it still sounds great. I just sold my Devore speakers today after the person heard them while playing this turntable. I am not sure what condition the needle is. That is why I did not factor much cost for the cartridge in the price for the turntable. The cartridge costs $1,600 new.

The Dynavector 20X2 L is MC and low output voltage.

Here the specs for it.

Technical:
Type : Low output MC cartridge with Flux damper and Softened magnetism
Output voltage :  0.3mV (at 1KHz, 5cm/sec.)
Frequency response : 20 - 20,000Hz (±2dB)
Channel Separation : 25 dB (at 1KHz)
Channel balance : 1.0 dB (at 1KHz)
Compliance : 12 x 10-6 cm/dyne
Impedance : R=150 ohms / 5 ohms
Stylus tip : Micro Ridge Nude diamond
Cantilever : 6mm length hard aluminum pipe
Tracking force : 1.8 - 2.2 grams
Recommended load impedance:  >30 ohms
Weight : 9.2grams

As a fellow VPI owner, I can't stress how well made these products are. The customer/support from Matt and the team are tremendous. I'm sure this will make someone very happy.
