MGO
Lovely! How old is this? Are you the original owner? Will the stylus need replacement? Is the cart MC? High or low output? Cheers Edited July 14, 2019 by MGO
chimchimster
I purchased the VPI turntable and the Dynavector cartridge new 6 1/2 years ago. So I am the original owner. The cartridge has many hours on it. But it still sounds great. I just sold my Devore speakers today after the person heard them while playing this turntable. I am not sure what condition the needle is. That is why I did not factor much cost for the cartridge in the price for the turntable. The cartridge costs $1,600 new. The Dynavector 20X2 L is MC and low output voltage. Here the specs for it. Technical: Type : Low output MC cartridge with Flux damper and Softened magnetism Output voltage : 0.3mV (at 1KHz, 5cm/sec.) Frequency response : 20 - 20,000Hz (±2dB) Channel Separation : 25 dB (at 1KHz) Channel balance : 1.0 dB (at 1KHz) Compliance : 12 x 10-6 cm/dyne Impedance : R=150 ohms / 5 ohms Stylus tip : Micro Ridge Nude diamond Cantilever : 6mm length hard aluminum pipe Tracking force : 1.8 - 2.2 grams Recommended load impedance: >30 ohms Weight : 9.2grams

chalkie
As a fellow VPI owner, I can't stress how well made these products are. The customer/support from Matt and the team are tremendous. I'm sure this will make someone very happy.
