spammoj Posted July 7, 2019 Share Posted July 7, 2019 SOLD Item: Sonus Faber Concertino Domus standmounts Location: Melb, Inner North Price: $400 ONO Item Condition: Needs work Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Wasn't working when I got them (from estate), and tech pulled out woofer and turns out the voice coil is burnt. Was quoted around 200-250 to repair but decided not to, so now moving them on if anyone wants to have a go at repairs. Also note the 2 bottoms screws on each tweeter 'plate' no longer holds the screws, the plastic bits on the underside have broken off. Perhaps these can be glued back on, or a washer could be used. The quality of the plastic components on this range of SFs seems to be quite questionable. Another pair of Domus' that I saw up for sale here had a similar issue, and I have another pair of Concertino's where the back speaker terminal plate has cracked and broken as well. Cabinets are still in really nice shape, and all the other drivers are working. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
