Lost 9GO on Samsung TV

Recommended Posts

For some reason over the weekend I 'lost' ch 9GO on my Samsung TV? Let me explain.

9GO has always worked fine.  Its still there in the Guide but instead of showing the program name, it says 'No Information'. When I click on it, it comes up with a message saying 'Do you want to remove channel?'

I have changed nothing in my system. All other channels work ok. I use std FTA, not freeview.

There is nothing wrong with the antenna because my Beyonwiz picks up 9GO with no problems. The BW is connected to same antenna.

The antenna is routed; Roof> BW Tuner 1 > BW Tuner 2 > Samsung TV.

I haven't re-scanned the channels yet on the Samsung. Should I turn off the TV at the GPO and back on to see if this refreshes it? There is no on/off switch on TV. Just sits in Standby.

What the heck has happened? Has anyone seen this before?

Happened to me too on my PVR.

I rescanned and ended up with two 9GOs. The old one without the guide, and a new one with the guide. Just deleted the old one.

I think 9 have rejigged their channels as the money channel has changed into GEM HD if I recall correctly.

The new channel is 9GEM ( channel 95 ) and it's in HD which has been looking quite good.

My PANA TV changed a couple of days before my PANA BD PVR - very wierd stuff

I think it's only temporary so that they can simulcast the Ashes cricket in HD.
