HiFiPassion
Item: TECHMICS Pre (SU-C2000) & Power (SE-A5000) Amplifiers. Location: Terrigal or North Ryde Price: !$4800! REDUCED TO: $3950 FOR BOTH AMPS. Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Too big for my new house. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: These Technics Pre and Power amps, in short explanation these are Not for the feint hearted, simple. They are big, bulky and heavy, specially the power amp, as you can see in pics, the power amp has 3 transformers 2 massive ones and one in the middle. Pictures tells million words, these as you can see in pictures (inside) looks better and cleaner then other amps. They are in perfect working condition. Both amps have been serviced and cleaned and both works perfect, they appear to be not used much and I also didn't have the chance to use them much either due to renovating and moving to a new home, now they are too big for my new home therefore I have sadly decided to sell them. These Technics amplifiers are perfect match to my Diatone DS-3000 speakers which are also for sale here, however, these Technics amps also performed very well with my B&W 802 Diamond speakers as well. Simple. I can deliver these amps around Central Coast and Sydney if you are Not too far from north Ryde in Sydney or Terrigal in Central Coast. Simple. brenden
I love this Japanese cost no object stuff . The little green caps are actually copper foil pps caps for audio made by panasonic , the parent company of Technics . I was lucky enough to get some from Japan but cant recall seeing them in commercial gear before . At first glance they look like your average film cap . Just goes to show the refinements that these top Japanese audio products incorporated but go underappreciated .
metal beat
Are these 240 volt or Japanese 100 voltage? Does the preamp have the remote control? Edited June 9, 2019 by metal beat
Kimbo
Such a beautiful built product from the 80’s. Many forget that Technics built some superb audio models during this period. Similar to my Sony TAN77ES amp. Would make a wonderful addition to someone’s system.
