They are very robust and internally have high strand 99.9999 OFC wire that makes them very flexible despite their high current carrying capability. The first thing I noticed when moving from Bunnings speaker wire to these was the precise and punchy control my amplifier had on the bass. I had gone through several iterations of amplifier upgrades without thinking about speaker wires. Selling at a big discount for a quick sale. The new owner will love them. myhifiacct Posted June 5, 2019 Author Share Posted June 5, 2019 I don't know the exact AWG, but my guess is around 8-9AWG. If I remember right, the wiring inside is actually several lower gauge cables bonded. I think cable manufacturers do this to maintain high frequency performance and to keep the cables flexible.
