Hard to know what to make of it all.  Lots of very odd ads on Gumtree and Facebook.

I'd say an even split between people not knowing (the true value of) what they're selling and various levels / extents of  dodgy on the other end of the spectrum.

Wow, Urbain is okay.  I’ve been waiting for something there I might want.  Next suburb across.

You may be right, Zippi.  Not being able to spell or key is up there too.  Latest I’ve seen is Duel 1009 turntable.  Saw some Snizer headphones recently.  It’s an opportunity if you want it, or just a laugh.

Likely they’re Richter Wizards $50.  No photos of drivers but if you’re close enough and need some decent speaker, maybe.

The grilles need to be unscrewed so odds are no one has physically touched the drivers if the cloth is intact

Aren't they magnets holding the grilles? They are on my (I assume) later Richter Emperors.

Not the ones I had, and the pics in the ad look like hex nuts holding the grilles which is consistent with what I remember. Maybe the wizards and harlequins had this compared to magnetic grilles in later models.

Yamaha NS75Ts ending soon  in Melbourne.I was going to bid myself but already have a pair.

Really fantastic sounding speakers and easy to drive.I have done direct comparisons with NS1000s and think the NS75Ts are much better.

Unfortunatey the titanium dome on one midrange is pushed in but there is a fair chance this can be pushed out again.I have managed to do this with other titanium drivers. It seems to be remarkably resilient.

A recap might also be needed. Some of the caps in mine had drifted off value.I replaced them with Mundorfs whichw as well worth the cost.

A pair of speakers [no name] at a buy it now price of $895 that look like they came from a club or bar judging by the mount, located Port Melbourne

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-Way-Speaker-Cabinets/292720588649?hash=item442781b769:g:kHQAAOSwHy5eVi1-

What's of interest is the drivers, a pair of 12" JBL 2202 woofers and a pair of JBL 2426 compression drivers with JBL 2424H 'Baby Butt' horn flares.

Seems like a good buy if interested in building a new / different cabinet for them......too big for me.?

Not baby butts. The 2426 has the bigger horn.
The giveaway is the 3 screw holes.

Same as used on the 4430 and 4435

not that anyone is buying much audio gear

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F114153892687

Arion Tube amp at $800 seems pretty good deal. i’d buy it for the looks alone but uncertain times ahead and my audio purchases are probably done for the rest of the year.
