Converting 110 to 240v

Goodaye all

 

Here's a couple of pics.

It came from the US and as l said amp shows its 240v but the manual is unclear.

So 99% its all good but its the nagging 1%

It definitely looks like a multi-voltage model. You should be fine :)

Yes, l know its just the manual threw me and everybody keeps saying that multi voltage didnt go to the US.

 

Wish l had a variac to bring up slowly.

Folk often hunt down multi voltage Sansui amps from the USA, just ask @pete_mac.

 

Edit: the net is full of misleading information.

 

Not really misinformation thinking about it now, but it ignores the fact that a lot of hifi gear came home with US Servicemen when they were abroad, this accounts for a fair few of the 70's and later hifi pieces that are in the USA and are multi-voltage.
