Anyone tried Euphony, a challenger to WS2016 + AO

Have seen some info regarding this os and player. Reports sound favourable, anyone had experience?

I haven't actually tried it, but like yourself I have been looking into it.

Do you know anything about networking two computers, and using the optimised one as the streamer and other as the controller?
From what I can find, it's possible to turn off even more services (like keyboard and mouse) to make it even better, and use the optimised one as the streamer to the DAC for best results. So a dedicated Audiophile PC and a laptop for example.
