Item Condition: Excellent.

Reason for selling: Want to try something different.

Bought from first owner with very low usage. Practically brand new and very slightly and sparingly used. Has box, and manuals.

 

Inspection will not disappoint.

 

Have advertised earlier and withdrew to a heavy lowballing. Want to try one more time. Please be kind.

 

Buy along with C52 preamp (posted in a separate ad) for a discounted price of $18000 for both. Only if purchased together.

I've got the 462/2600 combo. You'll miss this amp, they're really good.

 

I do have to wonder if 450wpc is a bit too much power though! Damn thing nearly broke my back carrying it up the stairs.

Well the meters on the Mac show you what you're using... I've only kicked over 200wpc on a few occasions.. I wonder if that money could have been put to better use by buying a slightly lower specced amp!

 

probably not. It's not like I've held back because I spent too much on the amp :)

 

450wpc is a sh*t ton of power in a domestic setting. For normal listening volumes, I  barely see the needles go over 45wpc. It's certainly been an eye opener for reality for me.

 

Man do these amps look/sound great though.  But they are heavy.. I'm just waiting for a Kallax cave-in at my place.

 

For those with less sensitive speakers, these things will drive pretty much anything.
