I built these about 2 years ago, I prepared and painted them at my factory using  automotive DuPont 2pack paints and primers.

internally they have bitumen lining.

the plastic Waveguide and ports were sprayed with automotive plastic primer, so the paint will not be flaking off in the future.

The MDF has shrunk unfortunately around the joins slightly, but doesn’t show from a seating position, I hate painting MDF  for this reason as joins usually swell and shrink , it’s a porous material.

the  cover frame for the drivers are magnetic so no lugs or screws , I don’t have any fabric but it’s cheap to buy if desired

The Sound is very immediate  and lively with these spks, but not in an in your face way, they’re smooth and detailed, the detail from the compression driver is as good as my Trio 15s Beyma ribbon horn driver.  Anything percussive, drums, piano etc sound great.

Good soundstage with good depth, they are a pretty good all rounder,   primarily used for my music I’ve been using them for home theatre the last 12 months to really good effect.

not sure,   the driver just had Red Spade on it,  my opinion it could be Celestion ,  the Bass driver was the same,  could be a 10" Celestion or Eminance, sounds good whatever is used,    xovers had Mundorf caps
