The Death of Stalin

Absurd, satiric and somehow truthful, all this make it exceptional and comical drama 👍

Pity it's only available on DVD, I bought it a month ago and asked if there was a Bluray version and was told no.

I love the fact that Molotov keeps getting put on and taken off 'The List', I got a good laugh out of that.

I have the DVD version and find the visual quality quite satisfactory. And the content a mixture of morbid and funny.

Steve Buscemi as Khrushchev is novel and captivating, as are all the other characters. Would have hated living in those almost dystopian times in the USSR. Not sure what would have been worse - Nazi Germany as a Jew or the USSR as a peasant / normal person.

Black humour. Excellent. Will check it out.

Haven’t seen a good black humour movie since ‘In Bruges ‘.

If you liked In Bruges then you would most likely enjoy Lock stock and smoking barrel.

Yes I own that one. Also Snatch.

Not as dark but also very much enjoyed the Grand Budapest Hotel.
