The idea of the 550K Power Amplifiers is to inject a new lease of life to existing hi-fi systems. Installing the 550K Power Amplifier is easy. They fit between your existing amplifier and the loudspeakers. After they've been connected to power nothing else needs to be done as the 550K Power Amplifier has a sophisticated turn on/turn off music sensing circuit.

Hi
Will these work just as well if connected directly to a preamp, like a normal power amp.
My reading on them suggest that it would act as a normal power amp in this case.
Appreciate your clarification.
Cheers

they can and do work iso as conventional mono blocks ... single rca connector each to hook up that ways...

pg 6-7 lists shows line level connection. its a grunty mono bloc as though 550w claim it has a 1000 watt max power consumption. so plenty reserve on board...
