Guest Posted March 6, 2014 Share Posted March 6, 2014 Normal stuff like using the volume control (stepped - ping, ping), switching sources etc. Owning it was like owning a cranky sports car. Switching to higher quality tubes helped a lot. As did a later mod that replaced the tube linestage with a solid state section - a forerunner to the later hybrid SA-1xxx series.
