Now these are the actual white van type speakers.

A friend of mine (who should of known better, being a musician & Electrician) actually bought a pair of these from a guy in a Van a few years back.

He was more than happy with them.

Moral being: the people who buy 'White Van' or other generic speakers, really don't care.

And as for the original speakers in this thread...

Hey, we all know people who those speakers would be a big upgrade from what they now have.

a flat I lived in in London had a pair of those & we had dozens of parties, hammering the heck out of them. The sound was just fine for a room packed with people & blasting dance music. Drove em with an old 50w NAD. :D Good times

Would that be true liquid cooled or just plain old indirect air cooling?

Makes a massive difference to the tonal signature:D

All modern white van speakers are rear engined, liquid cooled these days. Purists look back fondly on the old air cooled models.

"Thanks - but no thanks - you answered my question, I suspect you were probably had by the previous seller. They are most likely "White Van Speakers". FWIW if you look at auction 248465297 you will see someone selling some very similar speakers to these (albeit with minor differences in appearance & a different brand name sticker), but selling I suspect for a price that better reflects their value...? :-) Anyway - Good Luck with the auction!"

"thanks but no thanks"!!!!!!! are you nuts. ;)
