more tardme rubbish

Recommended Posts

These might even be better than the top quality Bose 6*9 on tardme at the moment...

155dB max spl... Instant total hearing loss....;)

95dB efficency.

These speakers must be pretty special to acheive either of those figures.. Would work well with a little 10 watt valve amp...

They even have a built in crossover. Thats something that my speakers are lacking. I am so jealous!

Interesting specs...

The back of the floorstanders state; "30HZ- 2000HZ'.

And the sub is good for "30Hz to 40kHz"

LOL

Actually I think that this manufacturer should be selling their designs to the likes of JBL and Turbosound - anything that weighs only 28Kg, sells for about nothing and can produce 155dB is a stunning achievement.

Although that may take some power to achieve...

95dB at 1 watt

105 at 10 watts

115 at 100 watts ( getting pretty impressive )

125 at 1Kw ( still pretty good )

135 at 10Kw

145 at 100Kw

155 at 1Mw

Or so my theory would lead me to believe!?!

That's impressive in itself in general.

I think I recognise those drivers, the one they've bought in bulk then thrown loads of them at the box until it was good, they're probably branded Peerless, made in china (the good kind of china, typmhany) like those available here in the clearout from NHT. They might have even bought them from this guy, as I have. If not exactly these, they're almost certainly from the same factory, should be good drivers, unless they're the ones that peerless or NHT rejected.

It looks like this guy doesn't understand the numbers he's throwing about, or thinks more people don't than do. He might be right, looking at that other sub auction.
