Please, someone correct me if my assertions are incorrect.

Only the assertion that Liszt was a closet audiophile.

;)

That Litz style cable on TM looks similar to the Kimber TC cables.

But, but, but I was just composing a post to point out the farcical contradictions in his last two posts. That's 7 paragraphs of finely tuned prose down the gurgler. Really how does the " I hardly know Jason but I'm biased towards his gear" guy know more about the product specs than Jason himself??

Michael; I hope we didn't end up catalyzing lots more hassles for you, espcially with the move and all. When I say "we" I actually should have said "I".

This isn't a good development...to suspend someone on suspicion is not good...but its not my forum , so I will shut up.

In the pursuit of truth and honesty, I stand corrected. The Jenalabs Power Cable is constructed from "stranded" copper not solid core, and the cables are double-insulated, albeit the second layer being transparent.

Whether these cables are compliant, and conform to the NZ "S" mark is unknown. Bear in mind, a lot of imported high-end high voltage audio gear is non-compliant. Usual insurance caveats apply which many audiophiles routinely choose to ignore.

You'd better pray that you're not on the A-list ;)

This thread is a sad state of affairs.

I openly will suggest people visit particular retailers whom I deal with and have a good relationship with - as do others. I also will openly recommend brands or models which I find particularly good value.

Most people on this forum do, and it comes across as satisfied customers - which helps the retailer no doubt.

Toms actions have only made me less likely to buy gear from Parmenter sound, as there appears to be some confusion as to who is promoting the Parmenter products. I personally dislike high end gear being sold on TM - however that is perfectly legit. I do, however, consider someone who always points to gear sold by one particular retailer but denies a business relationship with the same retailer rather suspiciously. As do apparently almost all on this forum. Tom, your not doing Parmenter sound any favours by not being absolutely open as to whom you are.

Most people who are regulars on this forum know others who contribute, the higher end audio world is not that big. So Tom, let ed know the truth or I strongly suspect that Parmenter sounds reputation is not going to have been enhanced at all by your actions,.

I note with interest that "Tom" declined my approach to him via PM and subsequent invitation to discuss his ties via email.

I can only conclude that his presence here was the second attempt by Parmenter Sound to use the forum as a free advertising venue. Longer term members may remember Jason Parmenter himself was suspended from the forum for continued advertising.

I have a commitment to ensuring that this forum is available for discussion, free of advertising posts.

In spite of the "identity crisis" Tom had some interesting perspectives.

I guess we won't be seeing a rehabilitated and reincarnated "Tom" again.

Third time lucky?
