May be possible if it's an export model with accessible multi-tap transformer inside.

 

If it's JDM, then probably not, they are usually 100V only.

 

It's not too hard getting a quality step-down for CDP's as they don't use much power.

A- Yes it is just a reflection from the jumper I was wearing. The display is very reflective. This is a player I imported from Japan so it is not a 230v player but it has a stepdown transformer which I will supply. 10:31 am, Tue 10 Mar
