jcooze
Experiment. Shouldn't be too hard to get two short runs of either cable and try them out. Most people* coudn't discern any difference betwixt a VGA run from my Laptop to my PJ and a DVI-HDMI run. The HDMI cable was a Panasonic 7m cable that came with my PJ. THe VGA was a shielded 10m run, the DVI to HDMI connector was Pudney brand. The laptop is an old Compaq, PJ is the Panny AE900 * (including me)
Nigel Beale
You won't see much difference if your display isnt correct, or as accurate as it can be. The AE900E requires a reasonble amount of tweaking of WB, I have one myself and it is quite a bit out in any of the standard choices. THis can be one of the fundimental issues with diserning any difference with even cables. Each issue adds to any inaccuracy. Same problem with sound aswell.
