michaelw
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=122940798 Rare ? SGH sold boatloads of them. Whoever sold that at $6500 would have been laughing all the way to the bank. Erin Brockovich should be patrolling TM not Noel Leeming.
Halo88
Hi All, Yes Trademe is a weird environment. Here's another rather optimistic punter. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Electronics-photography/Home-audio/Speakers-and-stands/Floor-speakers/auction-123536738.htm Given that a pair of brand new Harbeth 7es -2 speakers sold for $2500/pair on Trademe just recently, I consider these Rodgers overpriced. No offense intended to anyone. Regards. 'The more we change the more we remain the same'. Ancient Greek saying.
Adam1553552670
The DSP-A1 sold for $4999 briefly, then dropped down to $4500 (which is what I paid for it; the champagne one was a few hundred more IIRC). They're not very rare as they seem to last and last -- mine is still going strong. It doesn't weigh 30kg as the seller states, it's 23kg and it doesn't have a radio! Overall it's a fantastic piece of equipment, but this seller isn't very honest which should set off the alarm bells! The first question I would ask if bidding on one is "Can you put a photo showing the front display' as they have a habit of failing.
Guest
Agreed. Having had a pair of C7ES in-house recently I can tell you which is the better buy. It's not the speaker starting with "R"...
Owen Y
If these Studio 1's are the early version (with 86.5dB vs 84dB sensitivity) then would I be correct in thinking then, that these would be 20~25yrs old? Owen
Halo88
Hi All, The Rogers went unsold on Trademe, although a bid was made at $2000  The reserve was ....... $4000   Pure Optimism. Have a great week.
