agisthos
https://www.analogue.co/mega-sg/ One of these is shipping to me right now. But the 2.4g wireless controllers are on backorder with Amazon, so it may be a few weeks before I can even play it! Analogue Co have recreated both the SNES and Sega Megadrive on the FPGA level, bit for bit, which results in the games running and working perfectly. All previous clones of these old consoles use software emulation and have never been pleasant to use. Sonic is stuttery and laggy...
Guest rmpfyf
Get their NES reissue in aluminium and we're talking How many old carts do you have lying about? I've seen the Nintendo reissues running, they're stunning machines. I hope you enjoy yours.
agisthos
I used to have about 400 carts for the SNES and Megadrive, many years ago. But I sold the entire collection off.... I admit I now will be using roms on an SD CARD. Thanks to Everdrive packs...

A wild difference in lag. A few weeks back I actually had the Bluetooth back ordered, then cancelled and ordered the 2.4G, but they went out of stock so am still waiting. Apparently there is issue an with the first batch of 2.4G controllers anyway, which need firmware updates. Hopefully the new batch will be fixed before shipping. Maybe I should just go down to cash converters and get a real wired controller! Edited March 27, 2019 by agisthos
Saviola
Still have a large box of carts and a couple of broken consoles, be keen for a review when you get it.
agisthos
I think my nephew and nieces will enjoy this. Their only experience of gaming is on the ipad e.t.c There is something missing using a touchpad vs a controller.
