It still displays correctly and works fine with HDMI inputs like Chromecast or a Blu-ray player but because he watches alot of network TV he has decided to move it on and upgraded to a 65". The picture is still stunning with vibrant colours, it looks amazing for its age and is great for films and Blu-rays and if you don't watch network TV but watch Netflix or videogames etc. Made in Japan, the build quality is solid and a testament to the manufacturing of the time.
