(Pick up can be arranged from either Hallam or Thornbury retail stores) Manufacturers Sales Pitch: Celebrating 20 years of Vincent! Limited Edition Anniversary Model. For the jubilee, we offer you a special model, the SP-20. This is a studio hybrid power amplifier which in its base is founded on one of our most successful models, the SP-331 MK. We have thoroughly revised the unit and optimised the circuit. In addition, we gave it a face lift with two VU meters. As a special feature, the colour of the background lighting of the control instruments is adjustable. You can choose between red, blue, green and white with a switch on the backside of the unit. The exquisite aluminium case with its impressive cooling fins hiding and indicating its great power remains unchanged. Two 6N16 tubes work in differential push-pull mode form the input stage. The more powerful 6N10 tube transmits the signal to the transistor output stage. 12 FET transistors amplify the signal. The signal amplifying is supported by 8n electrolytic capacitors with 10,000 uF respectively. These specifications deliver plentiful power when necessary and it is possible to operate even difficult to drive loudspeakers adequately. The power amplifier presents itself in the guaranteed Vincent style. The bass is precise and powerful whereas the mid and high signals sound musical and transparent. Thanks to the tube, it allows a warm and clean sound to emerge from the unit. Selby Thornbury
Hi Everyone, Yes agreed, she's a beauty Sounds as good as she looks too. B-Stock comes from the previous distributor of Vincent. It could be a number of different reasons: open box customer return, damaged carton, minor cosmetic blemish, factory replaced missing parts/accessories (like a cable, foot or screw, etc) or manufacturer refurbished to like new. They don't specify which one though, hence the shorter warranty. Regards, David
barn door
Deal of the year. If I hadn’t already spent ‘way too much’ on hifi this year, I’d be driving to Hallam right now.

Hazzzy
I am a vincent fan and already have a sp331(silver) which may pop up in the classifieds if I can get used to the black silver thing. I am obviously impressed with the sound and am keen to hear what this has to offer.

I could not find any reviews of the amp online though, I was curious!
Hazzzy
32 minutes ago, Cardiiiii said: I was curious! The sp331 puts out 300 watts at 4 ohm and this one only goes to 250 at 4 ohms. I presume it must be to do with the extra tube. The amp weighs in a lot heavier than the sp 331 so I am sure there are a lot of upgrades. Anyway hopefully nobody cuts my lunch and it is mine to play with. I paid full price for the sp 331 so this may make me feel good about it. Mabey I will keep both just in case.
