Me too. Rotten Tomatoes was very generous with it. I can not fathom how some people rubbished it.

Noise (2007)

From The Last Wave to Witness

Noise (2007) - Watch Viooz

Quite underrated for all sorts reasons and from all kindsa angles. I mean Animal Kingdom really grabs you and you cannot argue with the greatness. This is a bit of a slower burn of a film - it sorta asks you to give some of yourself, really invest in the watch, and really rewards thereafter.

A paraphrase:

"You can photocopy your ar*se if you like, old Graham. It won't make a scrap of difference."

Whenever I hear the police banter about "mouthbreathers" - each time I get a clear image of one of the senior Aus politicians (that shall remain nameless and their party not specified).

Gettin' Square (2003)

Gettin' Square (2003) - Posters â The Movie Database (TMDb)

Not a film of huge ambitions, however quite entertaining and absolutely stolen by David Wenham. And he generally seems unable of making a false step on screen.

      Hi Everyone
What is your favourite western movie? (for those who like westerns of course)
My favourite is "The Magnificent Seven" but I also like the three iconic Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns starring Clint Eastwood......no titles needed here.......lol
In my opinion the themes to all these movies are timeless......Elmer Bernstein and Ennio Morricone respectively.

Found this yesterday amongst SBS On Demand's movies. Set in 1941 during the siege of, another true (?) story about amazing people with huge hearts doing things we would find totally inconcevable. Loved it, highly recommended.
